If it's physical, I wouldn't bother - we have had those tiangs getting in the way since when I can remember (open spotting space next to staff canteen, around gate 4 nowadays ?) Steve 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2008 I flew up from MYY today, then did a three sectors in and out of BKI to the oil platforms before heading back down the coast. Great day for flying as the visibility was superb. I saw the MASwings ATR parked in the hanger - very nice. Also visiting was M28-01 Fokker 28; N338TM Cessna 680; N7799T Gulfstream 4 and newish AXM A320 9M-AHO seemed to spend most of the day parked at T2. What bird was it ? Nope, with yesterday's weather, wasn't a good time to be waiting out in the open. Yes, we were departing for Miri at about 3pm. The helicopter is the same type as pictured below. It's a Canadian registered Sikorsky S92 operated by CHC. On the first of October the operation will move over to a new company called Awan Inspirasi, with three S76 helicopters and two S92 helicopters operating out of Miri. MHS's two AS332L1 helicopters will then move over to Peninsular Malaysia, being based at Kerteh. So take your pictures of the MHS machines now as they won't be around for much longer!
