AK will stay put at T2 for now.

 

The opening tomorrow is actually phase 2; phase 1 was the opening of the new bays earlier. So now we will have new bay + new terminal. Then the old terminal will be closed for renovation, only when it is completed (phase 3?) will AK move to T1, if they ever want to do so.

 

No, I won't bwe the first to depart. But within the 1st hour of operation, consider okay lah. As I said before, "among the first"......

just back from the Terminal, what can i said is, i couldn't agree that KKIA same as KLIA/KIA. don't hentam me (SV, pardon my Manglish/Singlish/Malayish?)

What I know is KA flight cancel....the actual reason....I don't know.

1 thing I know..... a lot of HK passengers and Japanese around KA office.

I guess, they are busy transfering pax to MAS.

just back from the terminal, KA61 had been reschedule to morning (23/08) 0600, first flight out from BKI. it doesn't seems like mechanical problem, just now didn't see any one around the engine and the aircraft rest at gate 5B.

 

still got a month times to go. btw, is that possible for we to visit the shorter one before it start operation or the old one, before it demolish??? really hope it was possible.

KA's B-HSK AOG is not due to any mechanical problem. It's because of Typhoon Nuri hitting HKG. All flights to/from HKG are suspended.
