Initially they announced over the booth area PA that MIG29 will do aerobat shows on Sunday morning, To confirm... I went to the announcer, asked him about "MIG29", & he confirmed me the time will be at 1130-1200 So end-up sms'ing all the members that I can, since I'd an hour to go. Towards 1130am... the announcement within the airside PA becomes MIG28 Remote Control So started to sms'ing our friends again... So... I didn't bother to shoot ... need at least 1500mm bazooka as well as very fast neck since the RC model is jet-powered... Sorry to make some of our member anxious about it.. Aerobatic by Eagle 150B's from CTRM... all flown by ex-RMAF pilots... the Starburst... as best I could show.. Formation flying... (forgot the name.. ) Chasing game (dog fight) Solo aerobatic performances were carried out by.... Col (Rtd) Zakaria and Maj (Rtd) Mohd Amin It was hot & sunny day... so as in all airshows... underwing shades are most sought after.. My friend in Kerteh should be familiar with this view... The carnival has got the Oommphhh!.. From small to large aircraft can be seen... This particular Piper Chieftain... 9M-IDA brought back memories of flying her in rightseat, SZB-TOD-TGG-SZB...all in one afternoon and just before 1800hrs that Sunday afternoon... and MalaysianWing will back in KUKL'07, scheduled August 31st till 2nd Sept, 2007.
