Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted July 6, 2008 Sorry to have missed you, Sneeze, on 04jul08 Weather was excellent and clear that day, but being on the hot side (34 degrees according the captain), I preferred to stay indoors in the aircon and avoid to become another red-crab Was able to shoot the Dragon-330 as well, but saw no Kitty-330 HKG is, indeed, an interesting airport, especially taken into account the many freighters from all-over the world... btw: on 04jul08 one Oasis has been moved from the compass-bay to the maintenance area - two others still there...will it be leased-out or sold ? What happened to the Ocean 747 ? Will upload my HKG-Lumix shots as soon as possible...
Sneeze Lam 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2008 btw: on 04jul08 one Oasis has been moved from the compass-bay to the maintenance area - two others still there...will it be leased-out or sold ? What happened to the Ocean 747 ? Oasis' license has already terminated by Civil Aviation Dept. (Hong Kong) last month during my stay in Malaysia. Sold or lease, I am not sure, but obviously, it is hard to see the sixth HK based commercial Jet Airline. Ocean? Where you see them?

Ian Lim 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2008 Updating this post from a different spotting location hehehe.... As usual, spotting is a must in the morning weather was fine and sun was bright in the morning(for a while and it turned cloudy), temperature all around was only 22C...pretty cool!!! runway 25R for landing! Let's start off with dragonair... china eastern A343 taxi in this is rare(at least for my case)...not md11 though asiana new colour. and it was cloudy when she came in <_> over the runway view, hong kong airlines B738 over the threshold of 25R. as you can see visibility was pretty good tehteh ah, i dunno which website did you go... just wanna tell you that you're right eBa air about to touchdown Cathay touching down will post some more when i recover from jetlag (PRETENDING that hkg and kul are in different timezone)

Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted July 16, 2008 (edited) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/Hor...85/asiana-2.jpg The C/S was simple and magnificent, but too bad the hangul title was removed from the livery Looks like there's another logo beneath the UNICEF logo; it's 'Korea Sparkling' logo. In the end, this c/s looks superb than the previous ones Looking forward to search the Asiana a/c model in this livery Edited July 16, 2008 by Jonathan Kong
