Spotting in Singapura

Recommended Posts

A last minute decision see me heading down south to Singapore... not for shopping but spotting

FYI, SIA has 58 Triples at the moment... so the chances of missing them at Changi is low

It is better to leave KUL alone at the moment with the haze making a slow come back.

Jealousy

Last time when i was in SIN,

I have met the A345 twice within 30mins,

But I could not have any nice shots,

guess why?

My first meet with it was during my taxiing to the Gate.

and the second time i met it was during my walk from the bridge to the arrival hall.

:( :( :( :(

Emperor Jon Kong,

Well done well done. Clap clap clap. Too bad I was sleeping when all these shots were taken. I bet the rotation shots all take from a car next to the runway.....betul? No way that can be taken anywhere except the side of RWY02C. And it must be a real powderful ZOOM ZOOM LENS u must have good there.....good one brother. Seven cheers for the shots!!

Thought I read somewhere that Singapore police won't let you spot from the roadside. Is that true?

Captain Radzi,

Not Myth, but true. No spotting from the side of runways in Singapore. JK must be whizzing up and down the coastal road many many times that day.

As the first 777-300 came into view, Jonathan scrambled out to take a shot screaming: " This is rare, never come to KL!". After a dozen of the same within half an hour, he was lamenting "Oh, another SQ triple seven!"
