Mohd Suhaimi Fariz 2 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Have a good look at this aircraft, because its fate (together with FFD) is still unknown. As of now both are grounded and could be send back to lessor. Wonder why FFA is not one of the planes returned to the lessor - aren't they the oldest leased 738 in the fleet? Though when I flew it to MYY last Saturday it doesn't really look half bad.
Hon Kit 3 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 FFA is leased from Malaysia Airlines.
Mohd Suhaimi Fariz 2 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 FFA is leased from Malaysia Airlines. I don't think so - FFA's an ILFC plane. So is FFD if I'm not mistaken.

Virgin Australia B777-300ER VH-VPH is currently enroute to Abu Dhabi from Sydney as VA29, If all goes to plan it should then operated EY419/418 (on behalf of Etihad) to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. KS Ong 1 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 The A340 has become rare aircraft to KUL these days. I think only Kuwait Airways and once a while Cathay and China Airlines would send theirs. And what fate is to become of these two? At least these are the remaining Firefly's jet for Nanning and Christmas Island charters
