KUL Apron 2012

Recommended Posts

JED charter for about 1.5 months. Operated by D7.

They got rid of the cheerleaders in order to operate JED charter? :pardon:

Neptune Air's B733 can be seen in this picture, the furthest right, next to MH A330 Cargo. Registration 9M-NEJ, ex Okay Airways. If schedule does not change it's due to arrive in KUL at 0945H every weekdays. Might be replaced by 727-200, 9M-NEP, prolly next week.

nice one tukun! isn't this a tilt shift shot of a real 738? :)

I could be wrong but it seems like the "Miniature" mode found on some camera. They can produce this result by sharpening certain part while blurring the other. Hence giving the "toy" effect to it.

Check under shooting mode - Shooting Mode

If only they can reproduce the open door in 1/400 scale.

Yeah.. because there are basically 3 prerequisites to making a tilt-shift shot..

  • Increased saturation and contrast of the image
  • horizontal focus of the subject + blurring of the background objects
  • an angle thats shot from above (looking down towards subject)..

KLIA website is showing there are two MH flights to Singapore/ today. Based on a blog I've read, I guess these two flights will then continue onto Rockhampton, Australia later today. CLICK HERE

1. MH 8713 22/09/2012 09:15 AM KUALA LUMPUR SINGAPORE/

2. MH 8771 22/09/2012 12:30 PM KUALA LUMPUR SINGAPORE/

Perhaps Singapore/ on the KLIA website might refer to WSAC? :pardon:

Saw 9M-MKA At T2 Northeast Remote apron this morning on arrival from AKL.

Also, trailing us inbound the whole way was MAS8730 which we overheard get airways clearance for CTAF departure out of YBRK about 0030LT. Must've been 9M-MKJ - They were cleared into WSSS via LAVAX1B - we in fact had to relay them ATC instructions as they weren't picking up WSJC on 134.4 - Pretty strange actually - the reception over Batam and beyond to the Southeast is usually pretty good!

Went to the office yesterday, minus the camera. And this is what was parked at the cargo apron.

The C-5 Galaxy, shot with a Galaxy S2.

Nice catch, Captain! POTUS, SecDef, SecState visiting our neighbours in the next few days. I guess some planes will be on stand by at KUL, SZB or UTP.

Went flying without my camera for the first time in a very long time and this beast decided to drop by.
