KUL Apron 2012

Recommended Posts

Have a good look at this aircraft, because its fate (together with FFD) is still unknown. As of now both are grounded and could be send back to lessor.

Wonder why FFA is not one of the planes returned to the lessor - aren't they the oldest leased 738 in the fleet?

Though when I flew it to MYY last Saturday it doesn't really look half bad.

Saw 2 Firefly 737s today. One was the orange tail with white body which i have seen before, and there is one with full FY livery. Charters to Nanning?

So sad, "the remains"... Was just on it twice winter last year... :'(

Lucky you! I'd never spotted her, let alone been on her. Same goes to FZA and FZB. They only ply JHB - BKI for a very short time.

Yeah, after yesterday morning's thunderstorms, I prayed hard for clear skies in the afternoon! So now I must offer my thanksgiving prayers too! ;)

Another shot of the MH dugong.

Afternoon all,

I didn't know which forum to put it in.

Virgin Australia B777-300ER VH-VPH is currently enroute to Abu Dhabi from Sydney as VA29, If all goes to plan it should then operated EY419/418 (on behalf of Etihad) to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.

VH-VPH for those who don't know is in full Virgin Australia Livery.

The A340 has become rare aircraft to KUL these days. I think only Kuwait Airways and once a while Cathay and China Airlines would send theirs. And what fate is to become of these two?

Nice overview of 'stored' aircraft, whether semi-Firefly colours or all-white...all previously stored 747's now scrapped ?
