Chaity 1 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks Mischa & Pieter for posting the special livery of KLM. PH-BQH has her own recognizable face where PH-BHD looks common from the front. Certainly anxious to meet her in KUL !
TK 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Mischa and Pieter, Lovely KLM Star Alliance. Hmm..i hope i can come to AMS in October to capture it. Or maybe, this plane will be a Pro AMS-KUL sector...yahoo.
KC Sim 2 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Beautiful images plus hot new airline liveries on this thread just makes it so fun to pop in time and time again. It is really nice to see that KLM now also has a Skyteam aircraft to show off, and what a beauty!! It deserves to be photographed in great light and I know that will soon happen and we will all get to ogle at it on Mwings. I love the fact that the KLM logo is rather big on the foreward fuselage . . . a pity they could not move it slightly to avoid those little squares and dots on the lower fuselage. Pieter : Love the image of the two B777s together. Could you give us a heads-up through this channel and also via PM when PH-BVD heads out to KUL and SIN. I understand a second aircraft will be painted in Skyteam livery . . . do you know which aircraft type will have the privilege of that? Answering an earlier question about the second KLM aircraft to have a special livery, it is the B737-800 in retro livery - a real beauty which I hope remains with this livery for a long time. Keep the great shots coming . . . enjoyed Cornelius' shots too, including the JAL oneworld B773ER. KC
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Certainly anxious to meet her in KUL ! 1st commercial flight will be KL0565/28aug09, as the 'park' on the nose is Kenyan... Could you give us a heads-up through this channel and also via PM when PH-BVD heads out to KUL and SIN. I understand a second aircraft will be painted in Skyteam livery . . . do you know which aircraft type will have the privilege of that? Will certainly do; moreover, will be on duty this weekend, so can keep track of her... 2nd KLM Skyteam aircraft will be a 737 (my personal guess: an 800/900)... Glad you enjoyed BVD...personally love the back part a lot better than the front-part...

Perhaps it will be a bit rush as most of the time, KLM will arrive early. Anyway, 2 chances for you to catch her, arrival and departure.
