Kevin Teh 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 if you checked their official website, there will be A380 and B777 on static display !?!? HOw far it is true?
Andrew Lim 1 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 Nice...but surely a better way to take an airfield would be to take out enemy radars and then paradropping a whole regiment of troops into the arifield. That way, you dont expose multi million dollar fighter jets to triple A barrage and u get to capture enemy equipment/aircraft intact. Our airforce is not very big and the RMAF losing a single F-18 is akin to the US Navy losing an aircraft carrier
BC Tam 2 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) ..... the RMAF losing a single F-18 is akin to the US Navy losing an aircraft carrier Wrong ! (I have been led to believe) the RMAF's F-18's are impotent. Hence, even losing the entire fleet of eight should in theory not cause any loss of firepower Now, the potential destructive power of a US Navy aircraft carrier .................... If one views it from a medical analogy, patients with erectile dysfunction can now seek pharmaceutical relief (in form of Viagra, Cialis etc) - personal dignity remains intact. Now envisage having to consult and seek permission from some stranger, possibly a bully with other self interests, before you are allowed to seek said pharmaceutical relief ...............
