flee 5 Report post Posted April 17, 2012 Flee.... you should wait for another hour as Grizzly-4 took-off at 1200, an hour after she taxied to Airforce base, about the same time the C17 landed.... Yeah... worth 4-hour wait today, the first 2hrs was "in the dark" as I don't have a scanner, only after 1000 that we can monitor the movements... We were very lucky as OZ435... C-17 did a go-around before landing, as she came as a surprise... Never mind Norman, I had to go off and did not have all day waiting for it. So I had to come back to do a second shift. Grizzly 4 left for another one hour joyride and returned to SZB at around 6.15 pm. Our typical thunder cloudburst greeted it as it swooped in to land. We at Malaysian Wings give all sorts of coverage - so here is a high moisture landing experience for the Airbus test pilots. Just look at the thick trail of vortices on Grizzly 4: On closer inspection, that is made up of circles! Splashdown! Yes, we are indeed fortunate to have double Grizzly day today! Good luck to the guys who will try to catch her tomorrow, her last day in SZB.
