Seth K 3 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 (edited) man.....that LCC terminal looks like a school hall....hideous.. 25943 Plus the LCC terminal's design doesn't really fit the KLIA modern design, and got to agree it does look like a school hall, totally hideous By the way nice TG340 shots, I thought that beast will never be in KL, and there she is Edited January 22, 2006 by Seth K
Norman 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 man.....that LCC terminal looks like a school hall....hideous.. 25943 Well... the name is Low Cost... so we can't expect much, can we? We get what we paid for.... Heard opening on 6th of March... Back to spotting session... We can go spotting even without camera; Our eyes=the lens, our brain=the CCD, (our CMOS to some of us.. ) our memory=the CF/SD/xD/MS card However, if you want to be fully equiped (especially people like me with failing "lens" and "CF card"...) Here's a suggestion (on the high side); 1. A good camera ... 2. A good telezoom lens ... 3. A bulb blower (to remove dust on lens, esp in Weather Station/32L areas) 4. A scanner ...(don't ask me where to get... ) 5. A communicator ...(to talk to the other significant half... or if you're single.. to other spotters who're absent and missed the TG A346) 6. A camera bag to rest No 1, 2, 4 & 5 above.. 7. An old newspaper (or in this case... a current one ) to rest No.6 8. A bottle of water.... it really dehydrating... this spotting business Next... how they do it...
Norman 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 Ok... here's the second part of spotting; As mentioned previously...check your gadgets (admire them also...& said to yourself... "Gawd! these things can buy me a Kelisa...") Have a good sets of eyes... scan for movements (This Spotter here has "binoculars" embedded in his eyeballs... he can spot a 737 far away before even the pilot radioed "Lumpur Tower, Malaysian 1281 Five miles final TreeToo Right" Don't leave anything that "fly" like these two spotters...(sorry, blurry...) Always chk your LCD... whether you get the shot that you wanted (Or "Gawd... I love DeeSeventy with Bigma FiftyFiveHundred") And lastly but not the least... If you've a notebook... bring it along.. 'cos, eventho' weekend spottings are your own time but still... Monday you've to submit "that" Annual Statement... can be done during break in traffic...
