MKA, MKI and MKJ are still in Subang but MKJ will leave for Tupelo in December. MKD was sent to Tupelo earlier in the year, in fact you can still see some parts of it lying around the storage area over there.

Thanks for the update Ahmed

Air Britain News reports that:

9M-MPM, MPN, MPP and MPQ have had the following German marks reserved D-APHA, APHC, APHB and APHD respectively.

I'll get to fly the B734 one last time next week because they'll be all gone by the time I do another domestic flight in Malaysia.

From MAS CEO:

He said another plan is for the airline to remove its 10 remaining B734 aircraft, which will be phased out by the middle of the year.

The move is also expected to boost MAS' fuel efficiency by 15 per cent.

MAS will also retire two B777s by middle of the year and the remaining 13 by 2018, which will enable it to have a younger fleet with an average age of three years.

So now it is 2018 huh ? Wouldn't it'd be great had they refurbish the 772 with new seats two years ago ?  ::8P::

I hope he knows having a young fleet doesn't translate into profits.

Well...great for us but not so great for bottomline. ROI on refurbishments are typically 8-12 years. So unless you plan to use till 2022 onwards.....

Going Places April 2014 shows MH has 14 B772s. Does this minus MRO? What was the figure in March 2014 edition if we could compare?
