  1. MAS8632 - sending people back? Probably heading to Sandakan MAS8606 flying to BKI

  7. and don't forget the article that I've posted above Terminal 2 handled 2.7 million passengers in 2010 lets just said 2 million belongs to AirAsia or its still a big amount if 50% of the total passengers are taking AirAsia

  9. 2.7 milion passengers in a 2 million build Terminal 2...it was 2.1 million in 2009. No wonder it is so congested with people so how would AirAsia going to solve this problems? Have they or the fed gov thought of expanding terminal 2 if AirAsia really gets to stay on. AirAsia is given Island C and why do they need more check-in counters if they do not have any new route plans for BKI
  10. MOT reply to AirAsia If I'm not mistaken, Terminal 2 have 5 gates in total with 9 parking bays (including VIP and logistic parking bays)? It was stated on 2009 Daily Express that the handling capacity of Terminal 2 is 2 million passengers although I thought it was build to handle 3 million. Some guy in the article claimed that the handling capacity on 2009 is 2.1 million passengers and it is over the limit and they are asking for an extension of the terminal. Island C and D counter in Terminal 1 is equipped with a total of 32 check-in counters which translates into 16 check-in counters for each island. He can have both if he thinks there are not enough counters to be utilized by AirAsia. What I think he wants is like what reyneo said earlier, MAHB charged the same amount of airport tax to AirAsia if they are to be relocated back to Terminal 1. Provide AirAsia enough gates, parking bays and check-in counters as we request. All other cost in Terminal 1 should be charged the same as Terminal 2. If MAHB could agree with him on this terms, he would willingly shift over right now.

    my lousy shots of KKIA - 2 months ago pic btw did they changed the plan to have 9 aerobridge now instead of 12? i could only count 9 now with my fingers
