AirAsia X said the fare here will be like the 'normal economy fare' of full service airlines The class where 'everyone' wanted to fly.... seat config 2-4-2 for this equipment but will be 3-3-3 for new aircraft on order... Seat pitch is 31"... & for new aircraft on order... seat will slide forward instead seat back reclines Seat config is 2-3-2 for the last 5 rows... You have to pay extra if you want to have these seats or similar... The X... and the whole aircraft for MWingers.... Thank for viewing guys... and thanks to DCA KLIA for this visit.. Yes... that's my lens ... & AK's security all over the aircraft so that 'wallapers' can't have a field day.. A big thank you to Norman for covering this event ! Nice coverage of this Xtra long bus. Norman, can't help but keep on noticing the dark patch at the bottom of your photos. Your lens hood still on with flash ke or dark power ? In the 'excitement' and rushing to snap everything in limited time.. Forgot to remove the hood...

T Azahan 1 Report post Posted September 19, 2007 thank you norman! good stuff!! but the name 'semangat sir freddie' i think is a bit tacky.
Norman 1 Report post Posted September 19, 2007 Yeah, Azahan... when the CEO first mentioned it during the ceremony, I was like ... what?... Freddie Fernandez??.... Any relation with TF?... But it was Freddie Laker... the pioneer LCC. I remembered back in early 80's, flight from Prestwick, Scotland to New York only 99pound, in L1011/DC10 of Laker's Airways...
