Chaity 1 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 With the recent single runway ops, plenty of opprtunities to take some close up shots without using a bigma lens. Learning from Sifu Azahan shots, I have a few from my recent spotting trips. Hibiscus II departing in the evening, wonder where was she going. KLM old color. Clean looking plane, took a bath not long ago ? CX has got 2 little OneWorld logos next to the 1st & 2nd door. Didn't notice them until recently Will post more when I have more. Enjoy ! Quite a lot of Middle East airlines in KUL recently. Just love this golden falcon. This has to be my favourite. Anyone care to explain the wording on the fuselage for ? "Cut Here In Emergency" Have fun and enjoy your night/evening/noon/morning depending whare are you now. Edited July 19, 2006 by Chaity
Azman MN 1 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 Good shots! Are these taken at 300mm? So what's the focal length for a full body shot? Got some more?
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 Nice one, Chaity. The [Cut here in emergency] sticker is also seen on B777s too
Sebastien 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 The 'cut for emergency' means what it says. if the plane crashes, and the doors are bloked, the rescue team will be cutting through there to acces the cabin, maybe no cabes there or something. Why Hibiscus II? are there 2 hibiscus? i though papa bravo was unique!

TWO HIBBIES????? This is the End.... LOL, jk, though it is bad. such a plane should be unique, not copied again! How about a full fleet of hibbies and heliconias? how should the 330 and 734 be painted then? Let's do it. But on the 330, Azuddin's orchid will be use I say better make the fleets have less paint=less weight=less money=save!!!!!

"Cut Here In Emergency" Chaity, its quite sensitive because it really means "There's no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet". No problem though. Chaity 1 Report post Posted July 20, 2006 Good shots! Are these taken at 300mm? So what's the focal length for a full body shot? Got some more? Hi Azman, the head shots were taken mostly with max 300mm. For a full body shot from this location on a jumbo, 80mm to 90mm is enough. Best part is the planes will taxi slowly in front of you. Chances of having clipped head or tail are rare. I still have a few more but taken from other spots. Chaity, Truly beautiful heaer and Tail shots! Simply beatiful! Keep more coming What's ur weapon? Seth, as mentioned by Gavin, mine is a grand daddy Canon 300D, silver color one. And two "Hong Kong Brand"'s Logo Sneeze, I like the Hong Kong Brand logo. What a genius way to have the 2 Chinese characters to form a dragon sign. hope someone here can explain bout this As for Pieter, I have no answer for the extra antenna. Perhaps someone can explain. However, there has someone used the same idea to play jokes on the government for the affair of the SAR governer's election, which is using "all-people-election"(普選) as the base and formed a phoneix.
