Seng Lim 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2006 Hi, These are some of the photos taken on Oct 29 2005 when i was in HKG CLK waiting for my connecting flight to China. Sorry guys as I didn't snap any inflight photos (didn't aware there is a great local aviation forum called MalaysiaWings during that time) if not i would have put this topic under Flightlog book (will definitely be more agressive in my future trips). Sorry for the glass reflections on some of the photos. Enjoy! ANA B763 ANA B772 CX A333 Mauritius A343 BA B744 GF A343 with SQ & EK further back. Ethiopian B763 with MU A320, GA DC10, EK A332/3 (not sure it's 200 or 300 series) behind the scene. Aeroflot B772, looks really elegant. MU A346 (it's really long!) with lots of cargo! Seng Lim 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2006 Hi to all, Thanks for the encouragements. Will definitely try my best to contrinute as much as I could to this forum. Dear Seth & kevin: I'm just using a normal 3.2MP compact digicam. Used to have a Pentax Z-70 SLR + Sigma 100-300mm zoom lense from 1997 to 2001 but not using anymore since I came back from Perth. Missed the clear blue sky in Perth which is perfect fort spotting. Unfortunately I only have those pictures in prints, unable to post it over here. Dear Raj, Yup, Aaron is right, the Garuda is DC10-30. Dear Samuel, ANA B772 in the picture is fitted with P&W engines (You could indentified it from the Eagle logo on the engines). Seng Lim 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2006 Welcome friend... Can we have more please? Mana MH? Sorry mate, this is the last one I had. Took this MH B744 in KLIA when I was waiting for my CX B773 flight to HKG. Honestly speaking taking planes photos inside the terminal is really tough in KLIA due to all those waiting rooms in each gates. Some of the new airports that opened around the same period with KLIA like HKG, Incheon, Pudong all adopts open concepts on their departure gates - give you more sense of spaciousness, brighter with all the freedom to walkaround & check out the planes! More photos will have to wait for my next vacations, hopefully sometime around Oct/Nov this year. There are a few destinations I wished to go but haven't make up my mind yet. Sneeze Lam 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2006 (edited) OMG, still have any DC10s in GA's fleet? I just guess they have all gone. I have once met GA's DC10 here in HKG, but was in 2004. Nice photos, seems you have got a long transit time over the airport that day. From at least, Aeroflot to Ethiopian.
