Raj Changela 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2008 Great shots from Riverside... (must try to visit next time I am out to LA) Made a weekend trip to NY before summer heat/haze kills the blue skies.... Rwy 04 Right for arrivals in morning... TAM looking pretty good in prestine light Haze already over horizon but still some good variety for early morning deps. Then visited HoBe for 31 Left banking and Thai Express did not disappoint. Here is LIMA DELTA showing #3 engine pylon and overturning to Canarasi VOR. (this is one of the sharpest bank in recent memory) Then onto 31 Right approaches... UA 75 showing off the new stuff... PIA's dash 300 looking nice Per fellow spotter, it was last day for KLM's MD11 at JFK... as summer schedule takes effect. Couple of departures... AI's 17:00 non-stop departure to Delhi. AI has 4 daily flights to NY now. Springbok 340 retracting leading edges as she ever so slowly gains altitude. Cheers...

Raj Changela 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 (edited) Last weekend, visited an invitation only photoshoot arrainged by American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, Long Island. About 20 of us were there between 8pm till almost midnight taking all possible shots of these beauties of bygone era. Heres some of my contribution from the fantastic night.... Also, I camped out near Kennedy to catch some early morning action... No haze... for 04 L departures "Gujarat" arriving on the dot at 06:55am! from Mumbai on an excellent morning. Right behind was newer sister, "Haryana" from Delhi... Cheers, Raj Edited May 27, 2008 by Raj Changela
