Norman 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2006 Was in KLIA after 1745 Saturday, 25th Feb 2006 Stationed near the threshold of Runway 32L ... usual and common spotting location for 32L landing Spotting buddies... In Jersey No.10 ... Totti @ Emperor @ Jonathan Was in Weather Station earlier In Batman T-Shirt .... Junior @ Syakir My usual "sidekick" when the next day is non-school day Also... suspect somebody is using a 10mm fisheye lens sitting in the back of this Rexton 4WD (Kidding.... they're the contractor's team for the Nav aids installed there doing some maintenance works... but got the best seat in the airport..) Main target of the day would be this pencil (again ) and this brand new ThreeTwenty was a bonus.. Also spotted "Purple Heart Recipient" from BKI and another "Purple Heart Recipient" from KCH More shots to share later...

Azman MN 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2006 Hi, Nice pencil. Saw it leaving at about 20.40. Then met Khushwant on MH123 on exactly the same aircraft as my flight from LHR on the 22nd - "Penang". Hmm... only my third time on an MH 744 but twice on the same one! Good catch of AFD - is that in service already? How much time do they usually take between delivery and starting service? Saturday was golf and then makan. In fact I was in Hartamas square (?) until 7.15pm... my flight was 9pm. Was cutting it close.... otherwise, could have arranged something with you guys as the weather was quite ok. Khush, sitting on 29th floor in some office building on George St. Can see the harbour bridge... but what's with the weather?? At least I can also see the heavies on final approach. Nice view.... Norman... any more? Did you shoot "penang" arriving?

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted February 28, 2006 Syakir, onkel Pieter here VERY nice pictures you took there; but, mind lah, when taking a shot of onkel (kaiser) Kong, hold your camera either horizontal or vertical (ask your daddy, if you don't understand me now ) and not diagonal : keep up the excellent work - I really like your shots and they make me "homesick" very much / would love to join you one day, when back in Malaysia
