szesyn 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2011 Some pix, to keep the thread alive... The A330 looks new and clean. Has the new A330 - 9M-MTA/B been spotted in KCH? Also, is the taxiway (that stretches to the end of RWY 25) finally operational? Is it true that Kalstar Aviation of Indonesia will be serving JKT-PNK-KCH route starting next week May 9th? Anyone know the timetable? Well, according to Flightstats, there is a "KD Avia" flight KD 811 scheduled to arrive from PNK at 9.45 am on May 9, 2011. Of course, KD actually refers to the defunct Russian airliner (and Kalstar Aviation does not have a two-letter IATA code as yet) but it could be it. Afterall, for a while Transmile Air was listed as "BA Connect" because of its TH coding. Anyone care to check out KCH tomorrow?

flee 5 Report post Posted May 9, 2011 Yes Uncle Pieter, a rather new spot after the full taxiway is in service, but is only useful when planes actually uses up the full runway length for takeoff hence getting pass this new spot Good catch of FFC, Iggy! Yes I note that most aircraft don't go to the end of the runway - only the heavies and the kiasi's [afraid to die] like Silk Air... So its good that FFC took this path right in front of your camera.
