Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 Air Mauritius MRU-KUL-PVG! Although not sure they have traffic rights. Good News for KUL. This is the main way forward for them, from here. Having said that, Hopefully Air Mauritius increase its frequency into KUL with this new tag on. Unfortunately, this one comes without traffic rights for the time being. http://airlineroute.net/2011/01/31/mk-pvg-s11/ Air Mauritius announced it’ll be offering service to Shanghai Pu Dong, starting 04JUL11. The airline is to operate 1 weekly Mauritius – Kuala Lumpur – Shanghai Pu Dong service on board Airbus A330-200 aircraft, becoming the First African carrier to fly to the financial capital of China. As a result, Kuala Lumpur service increases to 3 weekly. It does not have local traffic on Kuala Lumpur – Shanghai sector, however. Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Just a reaffirmation of the Sri Lankan KUL-SIN vv flight from a flying diva. UL definitely got rights KUL-SIN vv - they are bookable online ex SIN. Not bookable ex KUL online because they can't be bothered to put them up. (actual words from the UL KUL agent) because fare is exactly the same as full fare Y and C for MH/SQ, no "discounted" fares.

TK is using A343 on the route. http://airlineroute.net/2011/04/29/tk-sgn-jul11/ Even before the planned service starts, TK has made some equipment changes between BKK and SGN. 3 days in a week, the tag-on will be operated by the B77W (presumably those leased from 9W). http://airlineroute.net/2011/05/16/tk-w11update2/ Now this is possibly the best (nearest and cheapest) way for us from Malaysia to experience Jet Airways' much coveted First Class Suite. Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted August 6, 2011 An update for KUL. From 2 August 2011, Egyptair flies between KUL and BKK daily using their brand new B77W. This flight continues on to CAI. Egyptair is the 3rd foreign airline that flies between KUL and BKK after Lufthansa and Royal Jordanian. Also, Sri Lankan's KUL-SIN-KUL flights can now be purchased from the airline's website. Return fare in Y for UL costs RM 524.00 all in, which sits nicely in the middle between the LCCs (AK, 3K, TR - RM 250-ish fares) and the premium carriers (MH, MI and SQ - RM 1,200-ish fares). UL offers the most affordable premium product on the KUL-SIN-KUL route, that is if their schedule and frequency are not an issue.
