  2. its 100 per cent true, even signboards are placed to remind passengers to go to the gates 25 minutes earlier, half of that time to do your mini marathon. So sad that 3rd class mentality of "pay peanuts get monkey" still persist in the construction of this terminal which supposed to benefit and provide convenience to the public/tax payers especially. most of them can't afford to pay premium tickets or at least to give some choices to the general public in spending their money by opting low cost airlines, this will be a major put off for some.

  4. sure..what about those long corridors without travelator??...further, even the elderly will experience difficulties reaching the gates.
  5. just experienced KLIA 2 this weekend...while it's a bigger venue than the previous LCCT, im just wondering whether functionality was the first priority when they plan the design. i)One major qualm that i have is that people (esp passengers) first have to endure passing thru an area which looks like a big shopping mall just to get to the main check in area. ii)then, from there we have to walk along endless corridor, most without a travelator to the gate and be prepared with tiger balm or muscle rub as you'll end up with sore leg muscle esp if the assigned gate is at the far end (mine was Q) iii)Further, there are many unnecessary ramps that you have to walk along just to get to another level-why cant they install escalators instead?? iv) Faulty flushes in toilets-though being brand new v)On return i noticed some of the metal railings of the baggage scanner fell off dangling Modern facility built with the rakyat money of third world quality........................

  7. and the good thing is they stick to that tagline and not changing it to maintain familiarity while MAS changed the wonderful "going beyond expectation" to some mouthful tagline that nobody bothers to remember and has no significant value
  8. i saw an SQ A380 around 8pm yesterday at the satellite terminal-i was inside another plane so couldn't capture it...any reason why it's here?
  9. And d plane wouldnt have constantly flown at 35k ft throughout its journey..that"s d last recorded altitude anyway
  10. another important question is even though all communications system with the ground or satellites have been "allegedly" turned off, wouldnt it be possible that the cabin crew or even anyone of the crew realized that the plane had made a 180 turnback without reason and flying 4-5 hours on opposite direction. is the flight map also received its feed from the satellite communication system or the actual movement of the aircraft? and with this why not a single people in the cabin managed to alert the ground of the turn-back using their cell-phones?If the pilot is acting alone-it would be almost impossible for him to overcome the other 200 plus people on board if they tried to detain him.

  15. skytrax rating is good in the sense that those airlines awarded with 5 stars ratings must live up to their awarded ratings....which is not the case with MH sadly
  16. from the passenger's perspective, there's no specific charm to fly MH when other rivals local or foreign offers similar or better services, at similar or lower price.And MH i believe is not at similar footing with SQ which can still fill its seats with higher fares due to its exceptional service both in terms of cabin crew and its inflight hardware, one can really be impressed by SQ even in short sector like KUL-SIN..i know i am sad to say most of my flights with MH nowadays are those work trips arranged by my comp..for personal travel i prefer to shop around for the best overall deal
  17. thanks for the info...what a waste though as at least the new colour looks fresh..the green really looks worn out on some of the crews...once ive seen MAS and SQ crews passed each other at SIN and you can feel the humility of MH crews as oppose the proudness of SQ crews..hehe....
  18. not sure if i saw it right..but i noticed one stewardess wearing a light blue kebaya with small flower motifs walking out of the aerotrain last week..does this mean the new kebaya will eventually be worn by the crews?

  20. weak marketing strategy/initiative..market existence need to be beefed up as believe not many people are not aware of their service..
  21. good initiative..at least they are concerned on the service delivery..should have been done by the so called 5 star carrier instead....
