Ryan, love all the pixies, miss the airport so much.....kinda like the woody-felling of the whole airport. Other lounges at CGK is pretty crap.. Is there security check at CGK at all? AFAIR I walked to check in counter(only pax), passport control, walk around for a bit then boarding gate. I dun remember any security check point. Kindly remind me where are they I'm just curious now

I'm due to fly UA for 3 hours flight, should I bring water with me? or that still "complimentary" ? UA will realize that this is just a dumb move where pax can choose other US carriers for long haul, or even better SQ I would expect this kind of news from AA, oh well...

KUL-TPE-LAX MH95/94 issued by Air India: $743 + $471 taxes & fees = $1,214 per person Malaysia Airlines: $965 + $631 taxes & fees = $1,596 per person peak season, same flight, same day but different ticket issuer-price difference: USD328 I also notice that AI's price ticket is fixed overtime while MH keeps changing overtime due to season, availability etc.

Of course it means a lot to airlines, sure it's great to see those huge banners "world best" at immigration area @KLIA but how many actually look at that ad. and decide to fly MH? It's great to look at the MH's adv. but somehow next thing I know I'm onboard Emirates. Sumbody said before, the prestige of flying was long gone, almost all just want to get from A to B with descent service will do just fine. Emirates rank 9th yet they are doing better than MH. World's best cabin crew and second best is just a title, in reality the gap is minute small. Btw, how many minutes you spent with the cabin crew? welcome u onboard, meals and general questions...that's 10 minutes out of the 14 hours flight, unless if u want to chat with the stewardess no doubt MH is doing great with that field. As a student, r u intend to travel a lot? From my perspective, if ur traveling only during the summertime, most you can do with the miles is an upgrade from economy to Biz or redemption for domestic flight. Of course u hv to stick to an alliance or airline program. Just my 2 cents worth.
