  4. Hazman, Wow great SPM result. Really impressive, big congrats to you. Your result will not determined whether you have higher chances of getting in or not. Same goes with insider or pulling cables but at times it does so far as getting you to the door of the interview room, thats all. You will under go a series of tough interview that will bombard you with tons of questions (eg: situational, math, logic, stress questions etc.), 4 aptitude test papers with passing mark of 70% (or is it 80% I forgot), physical exams and final interview. This is all conducted before you even get selected to go into flying school. It will never be a bed of roses from the beginning. Should you pass this, you will know how tough you are. Be sure to make preparation well, read more about aviation stuff, have a backup plan should you didn't get through (go for STPM, Diploma, Degree, A-Levels, etc; because SQ basic requirement are SPM+one of these qualification should you want more options to achieve your flying dream.), lastly, just be yourself, stay cool during the interview despite the pressure they put on you and kill the ego or know-it-all attitude because that going to ruin your career in future. Check this thread out for inspiration, http://www.malaysianwings.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1360 and do go to Capt Lim website for more info. I wish you good luck for the interview and may your dream come true.

  9. Inter-alia is a latin phrase. Translate to "Among other things". 10. That were to happen, We would likely to hear TF singing "No" in Mariah Carey high whistle tone to the gov objecting this and flaunting "We Belong to LCCT"
  11. *Hint* "Tengku F." who has ordered hundreds of A320 from Airbus. - Who has the most numbers of A320 in Malaysia? - Who has the quickest delivery of A320 fleet in Malaysia? (On average delivery of one A320 per month)
  12. Sammy mentioned that the old Gate 1-5 has been reassigned from old Terminal side to new terminal side. Ewan: Brengsek~! Gue mau ikut juga dong..... >
  13. LOL SV, I think MH livery looks fine on 773. If you felt like that, what does that make Air France look like?
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borneo_Airways http://www.airliners.net/photo/Borneo_Airw.../0048195/large/ http://www.airliners.net/photo/Borneo_Airw.../0027335/large/ Borneo Airways appeared after RBA stop using F50 to LBU, MYY & BTU and it did take off, until 1999. Then MH F50 solely feeding the flight thru BKI-LBU-BWN-LBU-BKI. And that too doesn't last very long. Life in Labuan? There's no life here. I can count how many times I went to the town since I came back to Labuan and count with just one hand. LBU traffic wise, Yawn... Back to the topic, I think I recall there is also Budjet based in BKI and also Aero Asia in West Malaysia.
  15. *Yawn* and then you'll see "Subang to become new LCCT Hub for Asia"
  16. Don't forget Borneo Airways that has ties with RBA back in the days for feeder services from LBU, MYY, BTU and MZV to BWN.
  17. OMG! Thank you thank you thank you very very much LeeTZ for -MGF shot, that bird is so rare on the lens since last was caught by Sam months ago in 3 color schemes F50s in BKI.
  18. SZB-JHB-KCH-MYY-BKI But I can foresee FY doing almost all ex-Pelangi routes (eg: AOR, MKZ) with the exception of Berjaya Air routes. .
  19. Yup you're right, it's an older version of ATR72 with 4 blades. It's the -200 series.
  20. ATR72-200 is 4 blades and ATR72-500 is 6 blades. But with -200 engines, it has bass-like roar that similar to C130 and Dash 8-100/200/300, which I don't like it. -500 on the other hand, sounds similar to F50 engines with more high pitch whine but not sharp. Some F50 is also using PW127B engine where as ATR72-500 is PW127F so there's little difference with the engine sound. -200 engines vs -500 engines
  21. Hahaha, that's so funny!!! Do you mind letting me see your better looking hairy legs? From the last trip you went to Indonesia with AK, I knew you would say that Major fashion faux pas They just wanna fish some votes and fame, it's sad really, politician thinks the people are stupid and easily tricked when they can't even maintain the country well.
