  1. Now this is a rather surprising move, and a rather huge blow for OW's South America presence, should the deal gets pushed through: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/26/delta-is-buying-20percent-of-latam-latin-americas-largest-airline.html
  2. Airbus has just announced that the production of A380 will end after the last one has been delivered to Emirates in 2021. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-47231504
  3. Rebranding costs money and this may not be something they can or want to do right now.
  4. D7 moved from STN to LGW for approx 2 months before ending London flights.
  5. One thing to note though - check if you need to apply for transit visa if you intend to transit via Chinese airports. Some countries' passport holders can enjoy 72-hour visa-free transit; unfortunately we are not one of them... https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/transit.htm https://www.visaforchina.org/SGP_EN/generalinformation/faq/261307.shtml
  6. Maybe TF can somehow blackmail convince PB into giving up some of the slots?
  7. Funny you did not mention life vests... "Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to ditch our aircraft in the middle of the ocean. Limited amount of life vests are available for bidding right now. Biddings are only available for debit card users. Thank you for flying with us today and good luck."
  8. Probably Airbus wouldn't take them. That would not look good on the long-term viability of the A380.
  9. IAG's LCC Vueling has its primary hub at BCN. Perhaps that is the reason D7 is flying there - to feed the LCC traffic to/from Europe?
  10. It sounds as if he was trying to sell the seats whether they would make money or not, at least that is how I interpret it. If he doesn't address on the high CASM in relation to low RASM it's a never-ending story of MH in the red.
  11. Can FAs help to load the bags to overhead bins? Yes they can, but they are not obliged to. easyJet has a simple policy pertaining hand luggage: so long as it fits the dimensions, and you can put it in and take it out without assistance, there are no restrictions on how heavy they can be.
  12. Try repeatedly and rapidly pronounce the name "Air Seoul" and you might see why the name might need to be changed...
  13. Quite a few people would assume flying with AK is the cheapest without checking out the rest or looking at what they would have to pay for extra. In related news they can probably claim they no longer charge KLIA2 fee, which is not entirely false since it is now called "LCCT fees" or the sort...
