  1. Care to explain why the two aircrafts (were used)? or who they ferry?
  2. Don't think in business, trying and flip flopping later a good business decision. With flip flopping comes PR nightmares. That's what I think lingers in the thinking of those at the management level not to do a "policy" that backfires later.
  3. I think the delay is there. I downloaded both KLIA and Changi Flight Information board. On the two observation I made (yes, only two and my conclusion based on these), I see the planes still flying while the board shown Landed in the status. I expect the delay from FR24 :-)
  4. Agree. Just don't get it on the tail part. So out of sync. But maybe they don't have much of a choice.
  5. That' right. They now have the ground radar at selected airport. Can turned it off in the setting. It was mentioned in the FB
  6. In 1992, I was invited to visit WMKC control tower and given a personal briefing, sort of. It was that interest that I bring even to this day. So SM Tang, could extend the invitation again?
  7. Wait until you get a grandchild haha But I like the idea of fetching higher price for the no kids zone. Sort of paying extra for comfort. Way to go MAS.
  8. If only AirAsia were given the Labu airport as they (with others) as originally planned, and if it materialise, going by the same logic, then can I say that we the consumers are at AirAsia's mercy since MAHB will never get involved with the running of Labu airport? Personally I think they will be even worse than MAHB. My 2 cents worth.
  9. Thanks for pointing that out BC Tam Must be the time I submit the reply, 12:22 AM (typical to blame everything else but myself hehe)
  10. Did someone notice that in a span of 6 months (from this topic first created), the title of the thread should be changed (in a way) to MAS to take Firefly jets to expand? Haha Malaysia bullehh (slang Western a bit)
  11. It is generally true that locking on a gps signal from a moving vehicles takes longer time but with the advancement of the GPS chip nowadays, who knows On the topic, I use a bluetooth gps receiver. Press the receiver towards the windows (use double side tape to hold it in place ). The gps signal will be lost a few times along the plane's route but switch off and on again, it will be available at much shorter time. On a not so recent ATR72 FY flight, on a window seat right under the wing, the signal won't lock on at all.
  12. A system to "announce" the runway exist (think it is airport dependent). KLIA has one. What those system are called, I'm hoping for someone here to explain. It's a proactive measures to avoid runway errors issue Find in youtube for something like "Malaysia Airlines, taking off, cockpit, KLIA" Can't remember exactly
  13. Is that a 1TabungHaji or 1Malaysia sticker on the fuselage? The colour (of the sticker) quite different from the one we normally see.
  14. I think it's not about TF. It seems logic that he relate/tweeted on someone else experience. Let's admit that we do that too sometimes hehe
  15. I hope that whatever competition, be it now or then, would have consumer interest in mind. I for one, don't mind flying red, orange or white tail as long as the value for money is for us (with some caution, of course). So, in a nutshell let them fight for us.
  16. I want to guess...going by the bold letter, it is PR but the Poland way My hapless guess though hehe
  17. Any reason why the RMAF aircrafts were there ?
  18. Heheh .. suddenly I remember the F5E
  19. Based on the picture, the aircraft callsign is Trainer 381. Normally for training flight, the callsign used would be as follows: Trainer 771 for B777, Trainer 381 for A380 while for A330, Trainer 331. In fact, this morning, one A330 training ended around 1130am.
  20. Direct debit did not incur convenience fee. I can confirm that because I paid the booking which was made yesterday via direct debit and no convenience fee was charged. That another story for credit card, though
  21. Let me try to answer ?. Normally POB information and aircraft registration are requested before Approach (Landing) and before Clearance (Takeoff). Correct ah, Captain ?
  22. There are bus service from LCCT to Subang Jaya (hope my memory doesn't fail me here) , thereafter take a cab to SZB. Or use ERL Express to KL Sentral, thereafter use U81 RapidKL bus service from there and stop at SZB.
  23. Callsign "Trainee 771" is a B777 related flight while Callsign "Trainee 381" is a A380 based flight. You should come and see the A380 in training flight. Awesome
