Azahan, no that one is ex- Qantaslink/Southern Australia which when that went, came over to Perth for Qantaslink/Airlink, its lease ended and was transferred to National Jet, the company who own her to expand their own charter services. Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Nice picture of the AN124 !!! Did you notice the special towbar they have to use for this one ??? All An-124's carry a tow-bar at all times, as their aint to many ports that keep one. Although in mid-2003 we had one in Perth to cater for a flood of C-5A/B's, and An-124's over about 6 weeks (6 and 12 respectively). What's that above the Hibiscus ??? VOR-beacon ??? Haha, Sandeep, maybe it was MF? No, its actually HF Antennae, don't ask me why we have them here, as PER is fully VHF equipped.
Chaity 1 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Hi Liam and Sandeep, thanks for the photos. Hibiscus was in Perth. Good for her to go places and makes spotters around the world happy.
