Here 767-204ER G-BRIG as "Brittania 502 Bravo" gets airborne for Singapore, Abu Dhabi and London... CS-TMT is back this arvo, so i'll attempt to get some of her in better wx... (Sandeep, et al you should have heard Les when he accepted 24!! ) "Qantas 63 Heavy" to Johburg, didn't quite get away and looks like it won't for a while yet. Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Norman, here's 3 of the 4 diff types of (essentially) King Air (one's a Queen Air if ur picky) that we have in PER.... Old: New: Tall (Beech 1900D): (sorry best I could do given its choice of parking). The long bird, Beech 1900D VH-FWA was hidden next to her. Will attempt at a later date, as with the other King Airs based on the field, however they were all out of the way today! Oh and won't forget the RFDS birds down at JAD. Some pics from today: A330-321 HS-TEG arriving as "Thai 9999999997" from BKK Dash 8-202 MPA VH-ZZB, arrived as "Coastwatch 469" 717-200 VH-NXG 717-200 VH-IMD, yet to enter service, but missing a vital team member... It consistently goes u/s, has a pink beacon and boasts one of the most distinct sounds i've heard. Goes most nights to Port Hedland with the early edition of the daily paper and some perishable products. FYI that -MPJ's fin jutting up amongst the 712's, the 73H and the heat haze.
