Its impossible for the A319 to make a non-stop flight to Washington DC. Prompong: Flights AF164/169 CDG-SGN-CDG and AF174/173 CDG-HAN-CDG will continue to stop at BKK till November 2010. Afterward they will be nonstop flights. This is the full media release from Air France on April 2, 2010: 6 new non-stop flights every week to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City 13 flights instead of 7 between Paris and Vietnam Air France has just signed a code-share agreement with Vietnam Airlines so that, starting 3 July 2010 its customers can fly non stop from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City three times a week. These flights will be operated by Vietnam Airlines in Boeing 777-200, under the ‘AF’ Air France flight code. They come in addition to flights Air France already operates via Bangkok to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Air France will be offering 13 instead of 7 flights a week, including 6 between Paris and Hanoi and 7 between Paris and Ho Chi Minh City. Furthermore, within the terms of this agreement, as early as winter 2010, Air France will operate a nonstop flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Paris three times a week by Boeing 747-400 then by Boeing 777-300ER.
