Long time ago, during the heyday of KCH as the destination of MH 5/6 (the Kuching-Frankfurt flight). Date: 25 November 2005 Flight No: MH 5 Carrier: Malaysia Airlines Route: Kuala Lumpur (KUL) - Kuching (KCH) Distance: 603 miles Aircraft: Boeing 777-200ER (9M-MRD - Heliconia) That was a memorable flight because back then, I don't have a clue that MH has a special painted aircraft that gorgeous. I still remember, I was sitting next to a Korean granny who was not impressed at all with the inflight catering. I also received a surprise (more of a shocking) 'love note' from one of the steward on that flight. It was beautifully handwritten by him on a MH's B772 postcard. Truly a memorable flight.
