France has a history of having 'strings attached' to getting landing rights, if I'm not mistaken. Started with having MAS to purchase the A300B4. In consolation, at least the VVVVVIPs' schedules would already be messed up with the delay. Maybe the ones MAS invited will not be able to attend either.
