Norman 1 Report post Posted November 1, 2006 MW team was at "ladang 14L touchdown" site for coverage of inaugural flight of Kuwait Airways KU0413 to KLIA, today 1st Nove 2006 It has been sometimes that KU has not come to Malaysia So the team comprises of Emperor, Gavin, not-to-be-named member (since he's officially at 'work') and me At 1511L she came... late by about 11min in 9K-ANA Wing low to compensate for slight crosswind First kiss of the tarmac... Slowly lowering the nose... Spoiler up, reverse thrust deployed... Exit the active... stop... look at chart... slowly take time... first timer maaa... All I know is that by 1755 LT nobody was at the ladang area anymore. BTW, that "unnamed member", is he using a Canon EOS300D with the 70-300 IS lens? Heh heh heh, got you, brother. BTW... it's quite difficult to cover Cebu Pacific ( I think they'll start in December... correct?) Unless can get special pass to the Apron Control Tower for night spotting... Norman, since you mentioned Cebu Pacific, I thot I should see if I could get good tix KUL-MNL, but it seems that all 5J flights right into early 2007 are RM517 (fare 149x2, taxes 219).
