Edwin P K 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2006 (edited) haha looks like the TAP310 won. significant numbers too (3-1)0 I don't believe it! Anyway...today was my first time spotting planes using my camera Sony DSC-H5. I think I kinda regret for not listening to advice from you guys when buying the camera. Many times I couldn't focus the image in time to snap the best image. I did manage to get 1 or 2 out of...say...40? Haha...here are some results. Nothing compared to the experts here! I have read up on some sites that mentioned that Myrtle Avenue off Hatton Road is the best place to spot. Actually I didn't think so lor...it's kinda hard to get nice angles on the big planes departing from 27L. So I went a few places to possible get the best angle. The best one I thought was at Hatton Cross Underground Station itself. While I was running around, I missed out TG, SQ, and only managed to get MH's belly! Also can someone help me identify the make of these planes? I'm still learning...thanks... And personally, my best shot...I think Edited July 1, 2006 by Edwin P K

Sneeze Lam 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2006 Sneeze, can u elaborate about the colors? I have to admit that these photos are heavily photoshoped Well, the color is abit going to redish yellow, don't you think so? Or you were taking that with the morning rising sun? Anyhow, the skill is great. No worry. Thats 767 .... Yes, I am sure that is a B767 but not B777 cause of its tail is "round",

Tony 1 Report post Posted July 2, 2006 Yes, I am sure that is a B767 but not B777 cause of its tail is "round", He means the tail cone has a round tip, not a flat one like T7s.
M.Hafiez 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2006 i think it is B767 by tail cone and maybe the engines ..
Azman MN 1 Report post Posted July 3, 2006 I guess 767. Engines too small and tail too round to be 777. Blue skies and englishmen crying? Very rare combination in London.... Good catch and very interesting angles and must be exciting with so many heavies!
