Some artistic pictures of the Girjet 747-200 freighter, taken during the last few days:

Showing her nice colours in the reflection of these windows of the KLM Engine Services building:

AMS22may2007004.jpg

Delivery is imminent now, as the old 'sticker' registration PH-MCE now has been changed to a permanent EC-KEP:

AMS22may2007010.jpg

Impressive nose of Kilo Echo Papa (as also shown on the nosewheeldoors); note the reflection of the engines in the fuselage:

Some more pictures', taken by my 'calculator' at the GA and Technical areas:

Not a rare aircraft for EHLE, it certainly is for EHAM ;)

The Gulfstream-4, V-11 of the Koninklijke Luchtmacht :p

AMS26may2007001.jpg

EC-KEP was, finally, delivered on 24/05/2007 as GJT0747 to ZAZ...this picture was taken just before push-back and start-up from an appoximately 10 meters high staircase:

AMS26may2007006.jpg

SolidAir is a company regularly flying for the Dutch government, hence the orange colours:

AMS26may2007015.jpg

AMS26may2007007.jpg

Previously, I was able to show you the faded AirMadrid colours on this baby; now, you'll be able to see her new dress (Air Comet):

AMS26may2007012.jpg

Hope, you've enjoyed the small contribution again :pardon:

Although the weather was extremely windy and cloudy, I was able to shoot the following today (sorry for the bad quality, due to low light):

Privately owned DO-328 (note the RNethAF F-50 behind her):

AMS29may2007001.jpg

Gulfstream-5's always look nice and sleak:

AMS29may2007002.jpg

Surprise visitor to Hangar-14 was this 737:

AMS30may2007001.jpg

Was able to take some special angle shots of Foxtrot-Victor yesterday in excellent weather conditions; hope you like them :pardon:

The queen is showing her impressive nose (note the MH 747 (9M-MPN) between the wheels):

AMS30may2007004.jpg

Look at the size of her wings:

AMS30may2007007.jpg

Double-Dutch :p :

AMS30may2007008.jpg

All 747's of KLM are powered by GE-eingines:

AMS30may2007009.jpg

Can anyone translate this for me ? (as seen in the reflection of the door/ note the heart at the bottom of the door):

AMS31may2007001.jpg

My favourite type of Falcon jet, sporting a real nice colour-scheme:

AMS31may2007002.jpg

Almost ready for service (back to KUL?) is this shiny LX-NCV, so when she arrives spic-n-span, at least you know where she was 'maintained' :pardon:

Virgin Atlantic is proudly showing her British flag:

The previous picture of FV was just a day before entering a D-check; today (04jul) I was able to photograph her in her new dress after this check and prior to taking a test-flight; doesn't she look like new ? :o

AMS03jul2007023.jpg

Some more recent shots, of the Martinair A320's; see the difference ? :

08-07-2007 produced the following (wait for an upload of 09-07-2007, as we had some 'interesting weather' today :pardon: ):

LY-DOT was operating a charter-flight from the General-Aviation platform; seen here waiting for the passengers:

AMS08jul2007002.jpg

This Dutch lady was in maintenance for some gear-tests:

AMS08jul2007005.jpg

These Citations-X look very mean, don't you think ?

AMS08jul2007007.jpg

How about the private jet like this one (N770BB; registration is grey on beige  ):

AMS08jul2007009.jpg

Weather was extreme yesterday (09-07-07) at Amsterdam-Schiphol airport giving some nice effect pictures.

Want to share some with you guys (note - none are edited; these are real colours) !

Delta N16065 was the 1st to hurry off runway 24 before the thunderstorm broke loose:

AMS09jul2007026.jpg

KLM's Airbus A330 PH-AOE followed - look at the threatening cloud(s) in this picture:

AMS09jul2007028.jpg

The effect of the dark sky and Continental's Golden Colours look especially good here on N76153:

AMS09jul2007034.jpg

After the heavy downpour it was a showery display, as seen here by Leech's machine 9V-SVM:

AMS09jul2007042.jpg

Dedicated to Imran is this water-spraying MD-11 PH-KCK off to the Caribbean Island of Curacao:

AMS09jul2007052.jpg

For our American MW members is this Tripple Seven N772UA going your way:

AMS09jul2007062.jpg

Most aircraft of TAP are now repainted in their new colours, like this CS-TTQ:

AMS09jul2007067.jpg

Not the best picture, but wanted to share her anyhow; Transavia have leased-in a lot of aircraft to cope with the increased demand of holiday-traffic, like this 737-800 PH-HSX from the Caribbean:

AMS09jul2007071.jpg

more to follow....

My next installment is dedicated to the Boeing 757, one of my favourite Boeing types :pardon:

Northwest is now using 2 Boeing 757's a day for their flights to AMS, one to DTW and the other to BDL:

AMS09jul2007126.jpg

AMS09jul2007080.jpg

US Air has changed their previously operated Boeing 767-200's from PHL with 757's as well for their AMS operation:

AMS09jul2007088.jpg

Due to a high demand of Dutch holiday-traffic, this Air Finland 757 was leased-in by Transavia.com:

AMS09jul2007108.jpg

This private 757 N770BB is seen here taking-off for NCE:

AMS09jul2007120.jpg

Arkefly is now operating the ex Bmi (Star Alliance) 767-300ER; as you can see by the registration, this aircraft was operated by another Dutch airline before (any guesses ?):

AMS09jul2007115.jpg

Since Air Canada ceased their AMS operation for this Summer, the only way to fly to Toronto non-stop is either via KLM or Air Transat (A310-300 or A330):

AMS09jul2007131.jpg

As promised before, here's the promised picture of the giant AN124-100 of Volga-Dnepr, dedicated to Gibby:

AMS09jul2007098.jpg

more tomorrow... :pardon:
