Look at these stunning colours on this UK Falcon900:
Nice pics, Pieter!! To really appreciate the livery of G-GALX you have to have perfect flight at the perfect angle. This jet is Richard Bransons personal ride...

Thanks a lot for your previous comments, Gibby, didn't know Lord Branson was in town

The following picture is dedicated to you and was shot yesterday:

The days of the A320 in Martinair operation are counted; this one is waiting to be returned to the leasing-company:

AMS08oct2007003.jpg

Today, I had to visit the maintenance company for the KLC F50's; surprise visitor parked outside QAPS was this Korean Fokker F100  :

AMS09oct2007001.jpg

Really do love the paint-scheme on the engines :pardon: :

AMS09oct2007003.jpg

Here are some pictures of the PW-Canada engines; I was surprised by their small size:

AMS09oct2007006.jpg

AMS09oct2007005.jpg

Also parked in the hangar were 2 Falcon 900's:

This one is owned by Endemol Media Company

AMS09oct2007007.jpg

and......this one by Philips:

AMS09oct2007015.jpg

Ready for departure (tomorrow) is this Spicejet 737-800, back in her full livery:

AMS09oct2007018.jpg

Sorry for the 'black corners' :sorry: ; had to take the pictures thru the fence (as no ladder at hand)...

Two very interesting Trans-Atlantic Bizzers @ Schiphol today :pardon:

A Mexican Gulfstream 5:

AMS10oct2007001.jpg

and a Canadian Hawker:

AMS10oct2007003.jpg

Both countries quite rare here at this airport; we even don't see Mexican- and Canadian scheduled airlines overhere (only Air Transat operates seasonal flights to AMS)... :pardon:

Like you did for this Fokker 100 :yahoo:

Unfortunately, there was a slight delay, as at 1700 hrs, the plane was still re-fueled and the truck was in the way

So, Levent, could only snap a tail-shot for you :pardon:

Very nice colours !!!

AMS12oct2007008.jpg

Others seen today i.e.:

one of the sleakest biz-jets are LearJets - just take a look at these fine lines :pardon: :

AMS12oct2007001.jpg

IMHO the Falcon 900 is one of the best looking jets ever built; love these colours too:

AMS12oct2007002.jpg

This MD11 is crippled and is waiting for some fanblades for the central engine and repairs at KLM:

AMS12oct2007006.jpg

Than it was off to the hangar; Papa-Charley Victor (and not me, PC), is almost ready to be moved to the paint-shop there:

AMS12oct2007004.jpg

Hope you enjoyed those pictures again... :pardon:

Transavia-France

Transavia France can only be seen in France; they operate a dedicated fleet, unfortunately not to be seen here in NL

Anyhow, was greeted this morning by this (seemingly) ex-BA Jetstream31:

AMS14oct2007001.jpg

What a beautiful morning :yahoo: Look at this CitationJet, welcoming the gorgeous sunrise :pardon: :

AMS14oct2007004.jpg

During my lunch-break, I was able to witness this 737-freighter doing engine runs; here at full-power (= very noisy, when so close):

AMS14oct2007006.jpg

Cheers... :drinks:

Some really nice visitors today :pardon:

French Air Force Casa CN-235:

AMS18oct2007001.jpg

Another military visitor today was this Airbus A319 of Aeronautica Militare Italiane "Repubblica Italiana":

AMS18oct2007004.jpg

Nose shot:

AMS18oct2007005.jpg

Butt shot:

AMS18oct2007009.jpg

Of Russian jet-aircraft, only the 'silent' Yakovlev Yak42D is allowed to fly to Schiphol; how about a colour-scheme like this:

AMS18oct2007002.jpg

Nose, with Aviakompania S-Air titles:

AMS18oct2007006.jpg

Butt shot:

AMS18oct2007007.jpg

Dutch Coastguard ("Kustwacht") duties are now operated by two 'new' DO-228's; this one still has the German registration with the Dutch one still under the sticker:

AMS18oct2007008.jpg

After more-or-less 5 weeks in maintenance, LX-PCV was ready for a testflight today:

AMS18oct2007011.jpg

Cargolux is only shown on the winglets:

AMS18oct2007014.jpg

AMS18oct2007012.jpg

Papa-Charley-Victor is powered by Rolls-Royce engines:

Shown here already before, but now able to make a better shot of the Yeongnamair F100, prior to delivery to Pusan !!! Here she's seen being towed to her parking spot prior to fueling and departure :pardon:

Nose and 'general' colourscheme looks very similar to Imran's favorite airline Malev:

AMS19oct2007004.jpg

Another and better look of the fabulously painted RR-engines:

AMS19oct2007006.jpg

Nice slogan of this new Korean LCC:

AMS19oct2007007.jpg

Long way from home is this wingletted Hawker with South-African registration  :

AMS19oct2007002.jpg

Trying out her thrust-reversers was this Netjets Hawker, prior to take-off:

AMS19oct2007008.jpg

KLM became the proud owner of another flight-simulator, configured for the 777-300ER :pardon: :

AMS19oct2007001.jpg

Paul Bremmer's famous words were: "Ladies and Gentlemen, we've got him", and that's what I said too:

Sorry for the fence: taken with 400mm from accros highway A5 :pardon:

Hope you've enjoyed this 'military hardware' shoot-out...

Yes, some quite rare military visitors during that NATO meet: glad you liked the shots, Chaity !!! :pardon:

Nope, still using the trusted 80-400 Tokina...

Here some more during the last few days:

A few days after N127QS, we had a sister BBJ visiting AMS with registration N129QS:

AMS06nov07.jpg

Very nice looking Falcon today from Switzerland:

AMS07nov07001.jpg

Another visitor from the desert, although a bit smaller and less luxurious (I guess) than last week's:

AMS07nov07005.jpg

Hope, you've enjoyed them once again... ;)

Seen this GLEX before at PMI in sunny conditions, now she visited AMS with gale-force winds and hail-showers  :

AMS09nov07001.jpg

Delivered yesterday (08nov07), Arkefly's newest 'baby' is seen here resting after her long deliveryflight from the Boeing factories:

AMS09nov07003.jpg

What are 2 Airbus 320's doing at the General Aviation Terminal, you might think: bringing around 300 AF managers for a convention with KL counterparts :pardon: :

This airline was recently sold to the AF-KL Group, and will cooperate with CityJet mainly at the LCY airport:

AMS21dec07002.jpg

How about the beautiful winter-scene in the background :pardon:

Another 'winter'-shot, taken on 21dec07, is this Dutch registered Citation:

AMS21dec07003.jpg

PH-BTH is seen here half-way her change from an "old dress" to a "new dress"; sorry for the blurredness, due to poor lighting:

For Uncle Norman, taken on 28dec07:

3 days ago, she was still 'undressed', and this afternoon I caught her wearing her new outfit, while being pushed-out from the 're-spray bay':

Look at her nice white wheels and hangar-reflection at her fuselage :pardon:

Two nice catches today, despite the dull- and windy conditions:

For uncle Norman: his beloved Kingair (note the different European flag on the tail):

AMS09jan08001.jpg

The Learjet 60 is a nice looking biz-jet, but these colours accentuate her beautiful lines even more:

Bye...
