Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 What!!!! Do you know approx. when is that going to happen???? I haven't been there in good light yet! They're trying to 'make' another spotters-area next to the 18R/36L runway...best would be 2: one for morning shots and another one to the West of 36L for afternoon/evening shots

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Before Winterweather creeps in, I thought of visiting Schiphol once more and share some shots with you, guys, all taken 29oct06: A nice Citationjet was parked at the General Aviation platform at Schiphol-East (note the 2 BlueSky 747's in the rear): During the weekends, the production/flights of VLM are greatly reduced and 3 of their F50's were parked there too; here's one of them: Westair Sweden's ATP is waiting for tonight's FedEx run to Stansted and Charles-de-Gaulle airports: Here's a 'new' 737 for Aeroflot-Nord, with the 'old' SkyEurope registration still applied + (VP)-BRG on nosewheel-door: This all-white Denimair F50 is waiting outside KLM cityhopper's hangar for better times: KLM cityhopper's new livery looks fantastic on the Fokker F50, don't you think ?: The Three-Degrees : Enjoy !!! Norman 1 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Waaa.... very nice Pieter Thanks for the F50.. The 'Three-Degrees'... same planes as in waving friendly pilots?

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 The 'Three-Degrees'... same planes as in waving friendly pilots? KZB/KZN/WXC....don't know why they openened the windows...KLC crews very enthusiastic about waving spectators, I guess... Pilots know this is a 'famous' spot for viewers to watch aircraft: some are even slowing down or even making a full stop, on their way to 36L, for people to make nice pictures Uncle Pieter, very nice shots !!! The three Degrees are Fokker 100 ?? See above, Andrew, for the registrations: all are Seventies (with old skirts)
Mischa 1 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Good morning Pieter, Very nice shot of the 3 degrees. Did you take that at the Vijfhuizerweg along the taxiway to 36L? It is so cute to see those 3 Fokkers together. Defenately one of my favorite aircraft. Will you try to cath the RJ A 340 today?

Koos V. D. H. 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2007 Hello Forum Friends, Welcome in 2007, hope it will be a good photographing year for us all, with much sun. Well the first good news I believe this year from Amsterdam is a almost new airworthy L1011-500 !! Yes you read it good a flyable example again. To be precise the CS-TMR hopes to fly to Lisbon within two weeks from today. I visited the aircraft today at Amsterdam and found BWIA technicans working on the aircraft, all three engines have been changes and new tyres fitted. I was told that after a two week period in Lisbon, the aircraft will go to California for a C-check of two months an will then enter active operations again with Luzair, the operator of this bird. Well lets hope it will all come throu!!!. Attached some pictures I made in and around this old bird. Look at all the sparepart around the open engine What a beautiful spacious cockpit in (inside) this L1011 has, don't you agree? But also outside the cockpit is a beauty. Business class is still in the aircraft but very dirty after two years storage All economy class seats had moist, the due to the storage. Work is progressing on the tail engine. All the best and let me know what think of this, till next upload Koos // A340 For all photos of this serie (to be uploaded soon), please visit my website at: www.airlinephots2001.net
