Norman 1 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 Azman... Very interesting behind-the-scene pics there, Bro You guys are lucky... (anybody know somebody in MAB-KLIA so we can do this kind of tour - and allow us to some "off-limit" external perimeter areas, like obs-hill for eg ) I like the wide-angle shots of the A330... esp the nose... WOW! Pieter... show the darkside stuff there Sir

Azman MN 1 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 Difficult to get the wide angle shots right. A lot of distortion. Capt. Radzi - maybe you help me with some tips for the 10-22mm? Would appreciate very much.
Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 Difficult to get the wide angle shots right. A lot of distortion. Capt. Radzi - maybe you help me with some tips for the 10-22mm? Would appreciate very much. 26268[/snapback] Not much you can do, just accept the distortion as something unique. My 3 Langkawi Russian beauties were taken with that lens as well as the A380 shots and some flightdeck / cabin shots. Whenever possible just keep the lens level to the horizon. Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 Pieter... show the darkside stuff there Sir Uncle Norman, Here are some impressions of me, taken by my new D50 and Tokina lens; I should "warn" you, these shots were taken with "automatic" and no editing has taken place since uploading...still figuring out how to etc... Anyhow, didn't want you guys wait any longer, so ENJOY !!! Azman is enjoying himself thoroughly at the crossing of the 2 runways: The very same HB-IPX who flew me in from EHAM, was out again 45 minutes later for EIDW Star Alliance coloured AC0871 just airborne, bound for CYYZ Air Nostrum just arriving as YW8360 from LEBL Croatia is operating ATR42's into ZRH, nice, as at AMS only A319/320 can be spotted: New airline for me was BHairline from Bosnia and Herzegovina: very nice colour-scheme !!! Not many BA "old" colours exist anymore...very lucky to see this one Taken into the light, this Embraer E120 Brasilia shows some nice reflections... Than, it was off to the runway-crossing take-off spot...here a Darwin Saab 2000 Almost blown off my feet by this SQ 747-300 fully loaded for Singapura At about 1.30pm LX long-haul fleet departs: here HB-IQK to KMIA and HB-IQP to KBOS (how about owning a house in the background on the hills: nice views) more to follow... Here's one taken from the rnwy crossing and here's the other one taken from B dock. This is a 75mm shot, no cropping! and this one from 150mm
