T.Y. Bob LEE 2 Report post Posted October 17, 2009 Bob, I was told to beredar(get lost) at 9.00am by the Bulis, I didn't see you around ? kena beredar AGAIN, Second time in a week Hey Wilson, I was slightly south of the bus-stop location, in front of someone's house. But I've had to stand on my car when I photograph. Suggest you 'take shelter' inside your car when you're not shooting and keep your ladder out of sight? T.Y. Bob LEE 2 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 JQ update... -VGZ which was finally swapped with -VQH "Go Roo's" after 3 cancelations will (if all goes to plan) be swapped back with -VQH tonight. Arrgghh... haven't been able to photograph VGZ over the past few days due to bad weather... Anyway... some shots from today, Tuesday 20 October 2009: B-HNG B777-367 CX692 PEN-HKG Rotating on 04 with a rainbow in the background 9M-AHQ A320-216 Still can't believe it took me so long to finally get a decent shot of this! Rainbow over the airfield this morning... it lasted for a mere 10 to 15 minutes. Traffic at PEN is EXTREMELY slow. It is only once in a blue moon that we get something special. On average, there's one departure/landing every twenty minutes, so in between, we photograph other flying objects. Can anyone identify the 'aircraft type'? Expected schedule as follows: 22OCT09 STD:1000h STA:1800h 23OCT09 STD:1000h I won't be free to photograph her at the scheduled departures/arrivals... hopefully someone (Wilson?) will have the time to do so! flee 5 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Nice shot of a classic aircraft. Those Pratt & Whitney JT3D engines must be very noisy and fuel hungry these days, unlike the CFM 56 engines that the KC-135 tankers are retrofitted with.
T.Y. Bob LEE 2 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Any of you guys snapped the photos of the aircraft used for this year Hajj flight? Haven't had time to photograph the Hajj charters, which depart right smack in the middle of the day at 1130h. Anyway, for the record, 9M-MPL operated MH8006/22OCT09.
