Norman 1 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Ok guys... I think the 32L in Summer 2008 postings has exceeded the topic's limit. So I'm opening a new topic for KUL's 32L spotting thread for this new year (2009). Please continue posting your inputs from 32L in here from now on. I'll start this thread with my short spotting session on the first day of the year... I arrived underneath the 'tree' area near 32L around 1210LT... missed THAI's A346 and Xanadu A330... First I caught... Malaysian 95 from LAX and TPE... Next was this special color from TF's stable... (Are they still sponsoring Nico's team this year?...) Then Kuwaiti arrived... This is one is a first for me... (Has been missing from the spotting sessions for quite a while already... ) Sneeze sent in the regular... A Bank Rakyat aircraft carrying AK's advert on the cowlings... Dedicated to Mrs Pieter An oldie from Dhaka... A baby bus from Brunei... and actually I was waiting for my brother returning from Denny Yen's second home on this regular (was hoping for some flowers on the fuselage.... ) Then.... . . Beredar team just drove pass me.... had a short look and never slow down... ... But I was 'beredar'ed' by my own lens.... suddenly the 80-200 pushpull went awry... an element inside the barrel came loose!!... I couldn't shoot anymore... 80-200 pushpull will go for definite D-Check...

Victor A. 2 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 any Lion Air B739ER today Norman? was thinking of going to KUL this afternoon but decided to go to SZB instead. had to temporarily suspend KUL spotting for the moment (too many disturbance from the BULISMAN). BEREDAR team is the least to be worried about, its the BULISMAN that is really annoying.
Norman 1 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Nice catch Norman. what happen to 80-200~?? focusing problem~?? Nope... It can't focus, alright, and ... it can't zoom either... now it is like one expensive bell... when you shake it... noise 'clang...clang...clang...' from inside... woooo.... expensive D-Check coming ... any Lion Air B739ER today Norman? was thinking of going to KUL this afternoon but decided to go to SZB instead. had to temporarily suspend KUL spotting for the moment (too many disturbance from the BULISMAN). KS Ong 1 Report post Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) Been a while since last spotting...Went there yesterday with Yong, Chaity, Liew, Adrian M to catch CI744 that was delayed until 6.55pm. Ryan Soh from Singapore was also there until afternoon before going to MTB. There were 4 BULIS patrol Truck within 15 mins at 32L threshold in the morning , so no chance to spot around the area. Here are some of yesterday's traffic... Edited January 25, 2009 by KS Ong

Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 Nice one, Chaity. Wonder what is the SV classic doing here. Normally you can see them during Hajj, but I think hajj season is over.
Chaity 1 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 Nice one, Chaity. Wonder what is the SV classic doing here. Normally you can see them during Hajj, but I think hajj season is over. Thanks Capt. I was expecting early rotation thinking she still flies for Hajj season. Turned out heavy and she took some time to airborne.
