Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted January 27, 2009 Guys, this morning as I was gearing up to leave KL I caught a glimpse of a Pegasus 73H, was wondering who she is operating for. Oh and also last night upon arrival from LGK, there was 2 Air Atlanta 743F's parked at the cargo ramp, not the most common of sights

Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 27, 2009 No Beredar kacau me today. HEHEHEHE Loh, where were you? I was at the 32L threshold from 1500 to 1730 today. The cloud arrives together with me, then heavy rain that see 2 AK A320 went around. The weather did clear up for a short while later but no good traffic. By 1730 the next wave of cloud arrived and I went home
Loh Wilson 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2009 I was at Wx station all the time with Yong. I also saw two AK did the Go-Around , I guess the visibility was very bad. The next wave of clouds didn't not cover the sun at Wx so we stay till JAL and CX arrived.
Ryan Soh 3 Report post Posted January 27, 2009 This trip to KL started innocently enough. One of the main objectives was to check out the various spotting locations around KLIA. I was adviced well in advanced via some well meaning MWingers that 32R wasn't condusive anymore... so 32L it was! 24th January 2009 Highway drive there was smooth and completed in 40mins. I was trying to out run the ERL but to no avail. Went towards the Kompleks Bunga Raya and turned into the primeter road, meanwhile ignoring the sign that said "Authorised Vehicles Only"... I was prepared with a speech should I be caught "I dunno... I follow Malaysia Wings..." Before you knew it... this was what turned up just as I was driving up the slope towards the KLIA Met Station. I was fumbling for my camera like a mad man and missed the wheels. More traffic followed.... CX A343 from HKG was one of them. Traffic was mostly dominated by MH 737s. The occassional interesting one turned up. Oh yes... So many AK 320s too... In fact I saw more of them than MH! GMG Airlines of Bangladesh makes a visit. The A330 looks really good no matter which angle you capture it from. Getting ready to return to MRU. Apparently a take off from 32L was a very rare occurence that day so I was lucky. Did I tell you I met some really nice people?
Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) This is what I missed. Wih this sort of weather, it is as good as not getting a shot at all. Edited January 27, 2009 by Radzi

Sharil Abdul Rahman 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2009 Today wasnt a very good day for spotting. Overcast sky followed by some almost horizontal rain. Have a question though. I was at the Anjung tinjau killing time when at around 4:30 a MAS 734 landed, took the taxiway, went from Runway 32L to Runway 32R and then took off again. Is this a practice flight? Also, i saw a 744 (i think) at the cargo area without a tailfin logo - just white. Is this a plane from Air Atlanta Icelandic wetleased to MAS Cargo?
