  1. Congrats to PEN..!! quite surprise they didn't start it with a tag on first like they did with HKT.
  2. In Air Asia, the master himself dealing with all the related politic issues, while CEO of AK an D7 focus solely on respective airline. Same with OD, which have the designated ambassador to help them. With MH, the CEO need to tackle both.
  3. IMO, the way he growth EY and development of premium service something that MH can emulate. Also, in MH don't think the job scope will involve buying other airlines.
  4. Agree with you on this..... i'm actually kinda of sad he's leaving MH, to me he had more impact than CM previously. Wonder who will replace him next, will it be local or foreigner. If Khazanah still want a foreigner to be CEO, James Hogan is free at the moment(i think) maybe Khazanah can try to get him?
  5. If not mistaken they are not confirming anything yet and said they are still exploring some of the options available... it just us who speculate a lot of things
  6. Their JV with KL still intact. i hope they will fly to MAD and JV with IB to destination in South America.
  7. From https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/malaysia-airlines-signs-loi-with-aercap-for-six-a33-441559/ "Flight Fleets Analyzer indicates that AerCap manages 16 A330-200 aircraft powered by PW4000 engines. All six are in storage, with the operator listed as Air Berlin. The average age of these six jets is 11.3 years, with the ages ranging from 7.5 to 15.7 years."
  8. Didn't hear the audio yet... but what's wrong asking a prayer for a safe landing?
  9. Malaysia Airlines forges partnership with Plaza Premium Lounge Heathrow http://www.breakingtravelnews.com/news/article/malaysia-airlines-forges-partnership-with-plaza-premium-lounge-heathrow/
  10. Eehh... is this the latest one from CAPA? I thought MH did mentioned earlier in their FB posting that it will be a 3 class configuration
  11. I read earlier in the news PB mentioned more growth in China, South Korea and Japan for MH. However they just don't have the(right) aircraft to fly to this destination.
  12. Malindo or Batik Air Malaysia... another airline with a confuse livery in the making 😬
  13. It's great to see MH expanding again.. hope they can make this routes profitable. Would love to see they expand more to indonesia and also india..
  14. I don't think that airbus interested in swapping 6 A380 with 3@4 A333
  15. Hahaa... MH technically bankrupt earlier.. Of course laa they have failed.. In fact a couple of times already..
  16. Remember their earlier plan to offer cheaper business class but without lounge offering? This probably part of the plan...
  17. I'm guessing those with multiple daily flight targeted solely for O&D will be move to KLIA2. Flights with existing codeshare partners most probably be maintain at main terminal... Dont think this a good move to MH if its realize. Unless MAHB decide to built aerotrain that connect main terminal with KLIA2 then its ok
  18. totally agreed with this one.... if only AK start to falter and turn into red only then i believe they will move their hub to DMK. Btw what is the benefit of changing this KLIA2 to LCCT2 ? Will the tix price for AK becoming cheaper or the efficiency of the airport become better / less water pounding? endless possibilities..
  19. well.. maybe with the new painting and lil bit of promo it did help them to sell MPP... :D
  20. Glad to hear that they will remain with the kebaya.... also, a good move for choosing local designer rather than foreign ones.
