In my personal opinion, i still think expansion is best served by utilising LTCP space opposite MTB and build another MTB (Terminal 3, assuming KLIA2 is Terminal 2). But that space is gone now that they are building KL ATCC. Talking about maximising available space. But i am nobody

MAVCOM Sees 92 per cent Increase in Complaints Received
Amirul Mazlan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
I have no qualms paying to the current ruling government but it was the previous one that made me feel bitter. Not helped when they were not consistent with their working hours as well. Try dealing with them on Friday. One colleague made his frustration public, then director responded they would investigate. Nothing heard ever since. -

DCA/CAAM unjustified license renewal fees for pilots/technician should be reviews too. Previously costs only MYR 150 ish then roughly 2 years ago we gotta pay more than 1000. What a load of bollocks -
Hopefully they will do well being the only player on the route

MAHB sues AirAsia X over RM35m in unpaid dues
Amirul Mazlan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
I still think AirAsia is being unreasonable with their own klia2 fee which goes to their pocket 100% and has nothing to do with MAHB. -
Believe me crew pass/fail rate does not influence decision to buy certain make. Its a question of perception. An experienced Boeing pilot will learn how to fly the Airbus given proper training. And likewise. With regards of high failure rate (unverified at this time to my knowledge), its all known A330 fleet training/checking culture in MAB has been toxic for the past few years. Yet it wont influence any decision making process to procure 787/A330neo or A350. For pilots, life goes on. If the boss say go fly a kite, they will fly a kite. MAB values seniority like other legacy airlines. Recruitment of outsiders for widebody fleet which considered to be an upgrade for everyone, will be kept to minimum.

Talk is rife about AirAsia X going for 787 as well but thats just 99% unlikely -
Typical Ramadan low season loads for all airlines i guess

Special Report: Mavcom to crack the whip on airport operators
Amirul Mazlan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
Why not MAHB focus on KUL and let go PEN and BKI to begin with? That way it dont need to subsidise the other two busiest airports which im sure taking a lot of subsidies. There will be a lot of suitors. SATS, Pos Aviation, Pos Malaysia, Penang Port have the same owner. -
Lufthansa's New Livery Leaked

They should talk to Nazri Aziz and his inhouse design team -
This is no excuse as ive ridden in Metro in germany where some of the rolling stocks were build in the 80s and still functioning great running alongside the newer ones. If really preventive maintenance was no issue what are they gonna do about it? Its just less than 2km long. Whats taking them so long to actually start thinking whats gonna happen when it breaks down? Might as well just rip the track apart and start using the bus to ferry passengers intra terminal, which in 3 years when buses start falling apart, age is to blame. And i thought our country is going big on rail infrastructure?

Delta selects Airbus A321neo for narrowbody fleet renewal
Amirul Mazlan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
Boeings penny wise, pound foolish mistake. Care so much to contest and block Bombardiers C series whilst they have no direct competitor to said aircraft. I believe Deltas decision have somehow been influenced by Boeings antics regarding the issue. -
Of everyone.
