Hi craig, mind me asking where so you get all this routes update info? Really curious and excited to find out too

I have a dear friend who lives in Perth, AU. He's MH #1 fan. But since MH swapped to B738 on the PER route, he switched allegiance to D7 and sometimes, god forbid, SQ. The audacity of him to fly SQ, I say! So he asked me to monitor PER equipment daily and to inform him if there are any changes so he can pledge his allegiance to MH again. After all, getting a non-BSI 737 on a 5-hour flight is blasphemous here. And so I did - checked PER equipment daily via GDS and voila - found out there's a change for the better for PER along with other routes :)

Playing with MH website and realized that now MH partner with BA on most of it's flight to Europe... some with KLM and EK. However the price quite expensive...

Yes, interline prices are always expensive. It's like half way to full-fare price.

I was hoping MNL to get extra freq.

Not on MH, but on PR. Increase from 7 to 11 weekly:

From airlineroute:

PR525 MNL0715 – 1100KUL 320 x246

PR527 MNL1115 – 1500KUL 320 246

PR529 MNL2000 – 2345KUL 321 x123

Return flight is red-eye ex-KUL (departing slightly past midnight).

Very interesting for PR. They entered KUL before & pullout, re-start KUL & now adding freq. It caters for OFW market or Malaysians are transiting in MNL? Mmm..

Could be OFW...but PR also is expanding in North America, so can be a good source for connecting traffic.

In 1983 I went to the USA with PR, transiting MNL for HNL then continued to Philadelphia on TWA flying the then-new B767.

Good to see MH expanding its capacity - hope that they are overcoming their crew shortage problems. Now, they got to sell more tickets!

I dont doubt you but am curious why Msians were employed but not locals. There are many Filipino maids with degrees for example.

Most if not all of online casino/gaming are catered for Chinese punters.

Most Filipino degree is equivalent to our diploma.

That's news to me. As a low wage card dealer etc. or upper management?

There are a lot of Filipinos working in Las Vegas' gambling industry which is why I am surprised, if it's true, that Malaysians are being employed to work in Philippine's gambling sector. Malaysian workers aren't cheap.

Similarly, there are many Malaysians working at casino in Cambodia but mostly as supervisor and above.

Yes, sad indeed that KK is losing NRT albeit temporary. MAS is struggling big time.

Mh 80/81 frequency is basically cater for tourists only. Mh would be better off operate as charter airlines.
