KCH progress has been very quick indeed. Some months ago there was a lot of banging around, with the construction crew breaking off parts of the old terminal. Anyway I hope the viewing gallery will change for the better... Open air will be nice!

And here's for the latest update.The viewing gallery is now closed.

Went there yesterday & they started to put up plywoods to cover the area.

The only available place is the restaurant.

Anyway I hope the viewing gallery will change for the better... Open air will be nice!

It will be nice if there IS a viewing gallery at the new terminal.Somehow it doesn't look that way

What a disappointment to hear about the closure of the viewing gallery. I think KCH had a nice one, great for takeoff and landing videos, almost like the days of old Subang. Even BKI does not come close as it is too near the end of the runway. But anyway what did they do with the jukebox? Hated that thing when it blares horrible songs!

Hmm.. it looks too much like KLIA from the outside to be honest... would be nice if they did some nice local designs for the airport instead of taking the KLIA design, albeit that being a nice design.. oh well.. im not complaining

saw many lorries by the runway..maybe their going to dump all the earth to make way for the runway extension..maybe..

that TPK very smart.Airport renovation tender haven't been given,he terus do the foundation,so Gvment no choice but to give it to his company.

And the earth to fill the rwy expansion..they clear one big hill in the kampung area.The vacant land after that,build housing estate.Some money back.

If that is so, perhaps he is working along the same line over here at BKI. You can see piling works commencing at the abandoned seafood restaurant are as well as parts of the car park.
