Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 Thanks a lot, guys, for your kind hospitality For me, it was more-or-less "home, sweet home"....just love that place Amazed to see so many changes at downtown BKI after a 3 year break, especially those fly-overs at Tang Dynasty and Karamunsing Food was excellent...thanks, again, for putting up with me and taking me first to 2nd Tanjung Aru beach and later to Likas in the evening: fond memories which I always will treasure... Too bad, Ewan, the KUD trip was cancelled; thanks to you SMS warning, we could do some spotting instead... Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 After PEN, it was across Malaysia to BKI Like I said before to Kwek, these skies in the Far-East are just breathtaking : Here, en-route on board Foxtrot-Oscar "50 and counting", you'll see the roomy cabin, filled with only around 70 passengers: High-speed approach towards BKI needed some spoiler action: The closer we came to BKI, the more unstable and thundery the weather became: Over the threshold/piano-keys of runway 02, showing the BKI airport and extension work going on: Two highlights seen by me during the 3-day visit were: Tri-holer of Transmile Being a big fan of Russian aircraft, this ex Mongolian AF Antonov AN26, now registered in the Philippines with MosPhil Aero Next flight (from BKI) was to MYY on board this "Amazing" Boeing 737-300: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
