Chaity 1 Report post Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) Selamat Hari Raya to all! 2 uncles went spotting during Raya eve. To the spotter stuck in the office but wanted to spot, my advice is "Work smart " Raya eve brings in some special aircraft This is what we are waiting for Weather was threatening and I left after getting her since heavy rain approaching Edited October 13, 2007 by Chaity
Chaity 1 Report post Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) that i have to agree with you... arriving from vietnam at 1pm, if i'm not mistaken and straight away visit WX open house.. great stuff these two uncles got today.. especially garuda jumbo landing with the dark sky looming in the background. ermm i'm wondering, papi light clearly visible when garuda landed and surely that shot was not taken from WX, right uncle chaity? then soon after, garuda was shot while taxiing in front of MASKargo, that shot must be from WX. my conclusion...these two uncle sure is hardcore..from one location to the other location eh.. Victor, your guessed it right. Uncles here sure can run with camera, bag & stool. Start car engine and off to another spot. Victor, the above shots were from 10/12/07 Fri. The other uncle is taking care of the Vietnamese today. My roaster is on other day. He he! With Vietnamese here for KUL open house, expect more shots in recent days. Raj, one more catch that I like ..... Edited October 13, 2007 by Chaity

Now back to planes, some pics to share RWY 14R from a different perspective. Taken on 13/10, B-HNE holding at Charlie One. Jetstar VH-EBB, time 7.06pm. Taken with my new weapon on 14/10. ISO 400, f2.8, 1/100sec @ 190mm and unedited. EY A6-ETA on 15/10, also unedited.
Raymond Ngu 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2007 Pieter, I was also surprised that Etihad sent in B77W on 15/10 and 16/10. On both day, EY sent in A6-ETA. Somemore pics from my spotting trip 9M-AFZ holding at Charlie Two, behind EK B77W is on its way to the satellite terminal. Wings operating a charter flight for Lion Air. The slogan is so simple "Fly is Cheap". CX B-HXG seconds from touching down. Looks like a bit of cross wind landing. Taken by Quack Quack. Yong must be feeling "Ah Kong, 'mou ngan tai' (in english, no eyes see)"!
