Kevin Teh 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2008 What a change to last year's #'s Maybe due to the high flying fuel price, they decided to buy more F1 Fuel instead of Jet A1 for their private jets? Cost Cuttting, Cost Cutting

Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 similar to MEL, they got very few jets. Quite odd though, seeming the F1 boss has just taken delivery of his new Falcon 7X!! (speaking on which just quietly, 3 Falcon 7X's have been sold in MY)
Vivek 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 VJM - Vee Jay Malya. Boss of United Breweries/Kingfisher. Controls largest market share for india's alcoholic beverages. I remember when Airbus top-notch salesman John Leahy years ago went to Mumbai to get him to sign up for 380. It was shown in discovery channel. But he ended up buying this 319. Well, Kingfisher Airlines has ordered five A380s for their fleet. So Vijay Mallya can get to experience the whalejet as well. As an offtopic note, Kingfisher Airlines will get delivery of their first widebodies (A330-200s and A340-500s) starting July 2008. - Vivek
