Ewan Shamsudin 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2007 Hello everyone, Snapped these shots through a dirty window of an MH aircraft. My camera's dirty too... :-) SQ's 772 was already there when we arrived. Nose shot. Almost full-length shot of my fav a/c. ...but where is this airport? Here's the control tower Aaahh... three yellow-white a/c's in one shot, it can only happen in their homeground, BWN. After a short stop, we took off again. BKI, here we come. We flew low on the short hop. Labuan island with a cottony cloud above. An aerial view of Labuan.
Adrian M 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2007 Nice sets of pictures especially Labuan shots Ewan, thanks for sharing. Make me really homesick eventhough it's really boring there. Miss mommy's cooking... Wait a minute... MH got flight from KUL to BKI with a stop at BWN?! Thanks for viewing, Adrian. And yes, it's MH738 KUL-BWN-BKI. Stop at BWN is around 40 mins. Unfortunately pax to BKI are not allowed to disembark into the terminal during transit for possible souvenir shopping etc. You have to stay onboard as the cleaners are doing their job. BTW, I'm at the LCCT now waiting for check-in for the 0700hrs flight to BKI. Been spending the whole night here after a 2-hour delay from KBR earlier. Good thing MAB now gives free Internet access at the terminal...

Teoh Z Yao 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2007 Nice set of shots there, bro! The sky at Brunei is really blue! Hey, you know, when you look down from the airplane to the seas it's like you've conquered the rough sea; but if you're at a shipyard or something, and when the waves don't stop hitting the bunks or whatever, and imigining the expanse of water out there, it's like the sea is all after you... the hydrophobias know it, right... :-) this... Mushrif A 3 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 How big is BWN's airport? How many gates do they have? They originally have 6 gates with aerobridges...one was eventually removed to add an extension to the terminal building, which provided 3 new gates with aerobridges. So all in all, BWN pax terminal has 8 gates. 2 can be used for 744 size aircraft.
