Adrian M 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) is it true about this Hat thingy...?? Well this is what I was told by a fellow MH pilot. But TK, you know this Hat thingy the most so what's your verdict? Edited June 1, 2007 by Adrian M
Seth K 3 Report post Posted June 1, 2007 I think it'll be uncomfortable to wear that hard hat for 10+ hours flight. But in US, I seen all the pilots either while waiting at the waiting hall, check in area or walking down the aisle, never hv their hats on........

Chan CS 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2007 On the left is instructor , on the right is captain in training . Cheers As I remember, there are cases that really 2 captains flying, and the one who knows the routes very well, or with more experience will be incharge, am I right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
Desmond C 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2007 On the left is instructor , on the right is captain in training . Cheers i thought the training captain is training on those simulator!btw, thanks for ur explaination
Ian Lim 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2007 there are instances where 2 capts fly together and need not be a training capt. In case where it is 3 men operations, that means 2 capt and 1 FO.
Radzi 2 Report post Posted June 2, 2007 On the left is instructor , on the right is captain in training . Cheers If it is a captain in training, he would be operating from the left seat. The instructor will occupy the right seat.
TK 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2007 why 2 Captains flying the plane... Correction Guys.. On the LEFT is a Captain under training...on the RIGHT seat is the Instructor. Europe flight = 2 Set of crew. Usual is 2 Capt and 2 First Officer. In my case, Rome flight, one Captain under training, then another one is the Instructor = Captain. Me and my Captain is the other set of crew. Sometimes, not enough First officer, 3 Captain and ONE super First officer.. The Other Captain has to do Right hand seat Job like FO....and i've seen all 4 Captains flying..tht's more interesting! Desmond C 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2007 why 2 Captains flying the plane... Correction Guys.. On the LEFT is a Captain under training...on the RIGHT seat is the Instructor. ya, through the picture, u can see that the training capt having training, his body is a bit forward while the real captain is sitting comfortable on his seat.
