Norman,

Your photos are so sharp, the B744F and MD-11 takeoff are so powerful, helped by the water spray effect.

Thanks... :drinks:

I reckon.. the place where I spot is good for rotation and side shots

even with normal compact... You don't need long zoom lens there

Norman, Nice shots there as usual, esp. the EVA MD11!!

It's really time for u to get 18-200 ..

My crystal ball said 70-200 f/2.8

and 17-55 f/2.8 too

Dream on.... :pardon:

I really admire those of you who have powerful cameras that are able to take incredible aviation shots! I'd really hope to own one one day and I should work for it now...

Anyway, as I have enjoyed a/c pictures since a little pimary school boy I still enjoy 'em till this date, even shots not taken myself! Thanks Norman for some shots straight from my home airport! (And that's the airport I had my first experience with airplanes, and subsequently fellin love with the metal birds!) :drinks: Kudos!

Nice shots Norman :clapping:

I was there on exact date you were there, you have the FedEx arrived, I have the exact same aircraft on same day departed :drinks: . Will share it soon I downloaded to my com :good:

Seth, what were you doing at Penang? Holiday? You at LA now? Can get some shots of SQ's Singapore- Taipei - LAX arriving Sunday around 2130? A friend is on board... Thanks and em... my apology... might strain your camera as it is dark...

Ok... back to topic...

Since PEN provides relatively low traffic as compared to KUL...

I've shown ALL that I managed to shoot for the an hour on first day

and 2 hrs plus on the second day...

However, here some different angles/compo of the same aircraft

the SQ's 773 upon positive rate...

IPB Image

I think the F/O's realised he's been photographed.. :pardon:

IPB Image

I just love the buckets... pity, stowed earlier.. so no side shot :sorry:

That's all folks... thanks for dropping by...

Baaaaahhhhhh, bro, thought this would only happen in the Netherlands, glad you experience this as well (just joking ;) )

Well, what can I say: excellent pictures from that spot, Norman, with interesting traffic (732's)...unfortunately, cannot help you with the 721F :(

Pieter.... that pix was taken after the thunderstorm has "tamed" down.. :pardon:

Before that... the rain was doing "horizontal" movement... very strong x-wind on the bridge :o

Thanks, bro...
